A paved fitness trail is ideal for long walks, jogs &r biking around the lake. Fishing is allowed from the pier. The park also features a playground, picnic areas, pavilions, a butterfly garden and amphitheater.  The popular Ice Cream Social is held here annually in July to celebrate Parks & Recreation month.

Beach Access: Naples Beach is just 3-miles away and has various deeded beach entries along Gulf Shore Boulevard. The historic Naples Pier is located on Naples Beach and features a concession stand on the pier with a covered eating area and beach supplies plus restroom facilities. Fishing from the pier does not require a fishing license, as the City of Naples has purchased a bulk fishing license for the pier. The beach at the pier also features volleyball nets and is one of the best places to watch a spectacular Naples sunset. There is on-street metered parking supplemented by an 83-space metered parking lot one block east of the beach. Additional parking and access to Naples Beach exists on 4th Avenue South, 8th Avenue South 17th Avenue South and 6th Avenue North.

East Naples Community Park: Home of the US Open Pickleball Championship, this park has 54 Pickball courts, basketball courts, racquetball courts,  lit tennis courts,  lit softball fields, lighted playground, lit exercise trail around the lake, picnic area, pavilion, roller hockey rink, lit football/soccer fields, and a senior center.

Naples Botanical Gardens: This 170-acre tropical garden paradise features designs from some of the finest landscape architects in the world including cultivated gardens of Florida, Brazil, Asia, the Caribbean and a Water Garden filled with water lilies, lotus, and papyrus. The 90-acre preserve features seven ecosystems and includes mangroves, marshes, and untouched forests where hundreds of animal species and more than 300 species of exotic and native plants dwell.
